FREE CLIENT RESEARCH LINK
Due to our large database of England/Wales certificate orders, we check if someone has ordered the same certificate.  When this happens we write to you thus providing a link with someone who is researching the same family. Mail from England to our office is sent registered mail.  We photocopy all certificates before they are mailed.

If you want to secure the mailing of your certificates within Australia a Pre-Paid Registered Self Addressed Envelope is recommended.  If ordering online and paying by credit card and registered mail is required an additional $5 charge applies for registered mail.

UNCLEAR INDEX REFERENCES

Sometimes because of the poor quality of the microfiche or microfilm it may be difficult to read the references on the GRO Index (formerly St. Catherine’s Index).

If the reference you apply for is incorrect the Records Office in England will not issue a certificate and a refund of about $12 Australian will be given. If you have any doubts we strongly recommend that you ask to have the index reference checked.

Our charge is $3 to have our researcher in England check the original index before they apply for the certificate.

When you send your request, provide all the readable details along with a note about the detail that was unclear.
