As an Accredited Transcription Agent since 1995, Joy Murrin attends the NSW Registry at least three times a week to provide transcriptions from the Birth, Death and Marriage registers.

Turnaround

Turnaround is usually two weeks. In some cases delays may be experienced if wrong registrations numbers are supplied. Joy will check these on her next visit.

F	Full Transcriptions provide *all details* recorded in the register.	$17
Partial Transcriptions We have divided each registration into blocks of information. A block has between 3 and 4 fields of information. Click here Refer to the table for selections.
P3	Partial Transcription with 3 Blocks (possible 9 or more fields of information)	$14
P2	Partial Transcription with 2 Blocks (possible 6 or more fields of information)	$12
P1	Partial Transcription with 1 Block (possible 3 or more fields of information)	$9
C	Check & Verify allows a researcher to verify one field of data eg. Spouse, Birthplace etc. Arrangements can be made to update to Full Transcription at the time of original request. (Click here for How to Use Check & Verify)	$9
V	Early Church Records Volume entries usually pre 1856 records.	$12

2 Popular ways of using Check & Verify

If only one field of information such as full date of birth is required.
If there is more than one listing and you cannot identify which to request. If you have a known factor such as spouse name or parents or maiden name of mother the registration can be checked for this. With Check & Verify if a full transcription is required with the agreed factor, by specify this a charge of $17 for a full transcription will apply if it is the first reference number checked. However the fee for each Check & Verify is $9 until the correct registration is transcribed.
